What do we do?

Our key activities

Acção de Participação Itinerante

It’s a youth participation and community action capacity building program, that through five days will unite a group of youngsters, giving them space to reflect on their own realities with the focus of increasing their self development.

Academia Power Youth UP

It’s a social entrepreneurship and self development capacity building program aimed for youth. During six months the group will pass through a continuous process where they will create an idea that has community impact.

Our Intervention

Three strategic dimensions
We dream of a world where young people have the skills and initiative to reach their dreams. A society where young people can be active players in decision-making processes, contributing in an informed and conscious way.
Capacity building
Create opportunities for capacity building of youngsters, youth organisations and multipliers, through training, support sessions and structured programs using methodologies within the field of Non Formal Education.
International Mobility
Provide international mobility opportunities where participants can deepen intercultural dialogue, get to know about other realities and develop new skills.
Community Development

Contribute to the increase of social cohesion and connexion between the community through cooperation and structured dialogue, exploring opportunities within the community.

Our essence

Some concepts

Non Formal Education

NFE is an structured participatory and social learning process, which includes voluntary participation and is centered on the participant, always treasuring the learning and reflexion processes.

Youth Work

Encompasses a broad range of activities (eg social, cultural, educational, sports-related and political) carried out with, by and for young people through non-formal and informal learning. It encourages personal development, autonomy, initiative and participation in society.

Co-operative

Because we believe in the democratic union of people, without profit, fighting for a cause and its members being able to satisfy their economical, social and cultural needs and aspirations.

Citizenship Education

Aims to contribute to the training of responsible, autonomous, solidary people, that know and exercise their rights and responsibilities in dialogue and respect each other, with a democratic, pluralist, critical and creative spirit, having as a reference human rights values.
